Country Stalls helps people discover roadside stalls, honesty boxes, farm shops, local makers, services, and mobile sellers around New Zealand. It also gives participating sellers tools to list products, accept orders, and manage their stall online.
Country Stalls is a local discovery map and online marketplace. You can use it to find nearby independent sellers, see what they offer, check their location and opening information, save favourites, and, where a seller has enabled it, order through the marketplace.
No. You can browse the map, stalls, and public product listings without an account. An account may be required for features such as placing an online order, saving favourites, leaving a review, receiving notifications, or managing a stall.
Open the map and marketplace, allow location access if you are comfortable doing so, or search by place. You can filter by stall type and category. Location access can be turned off in your browser or device settings at any time.
No. Sellers and community members provide most listing information, and roadside or mobile sellers can change location, hours, or stock at short notice. Check the listing for updates and contact the seller before making a special trip when possible.
Yes. Use the I Found a Stall form to suggest a roadside stall or honesty box. Country Stalls may review, edit, decline, or remove community-submitted listings. A stall owner can later claim an eligible listing.
You buy from the seller shown on the stall or product page. Country Stalls provides the platform and, for some orders, facilitates checkout, but it is not the seller of third-party products unless a listing clearly says otherwise.
Payment options vary by seller. A seller may accept cash, EFTPOS, payment on collection, a link to their own website, direct debit, Stripe card payments, POLi, RoadPay, or another method shown on their listing or at checkout. Only use a payment method the seller has displayed or agreed with you.
Integrated payments are handled by specialist payment providers. Country Stalls does not store full card numbers. A payment provider may require identity checks or apply its own terms, privacy policy, processing times, and fees.
Options are set by each seller and can differ by product. At checkout, review the pickup timing, delivery area, delivery fee, rural surcharge, address, and seller notes. The seller is responsible for preparing and fulfilling the order. Contact the seller promptly if arrangements need to change.
Seasonal and small-batch stock can change quickly. The seller should contact you to offer an appropriate substitute, revised arrangement, cancellation, or refund. You do not have to accept a materially different substitute.
Contact the seller as soon as possible using the details on the stall or order page. Whether an order can be cancelled may depend on whether it has already been prepared, collected, dispatched, or delivered, and on your rights under New Zealand law. If you cannot resolve the issue with the seller, contact Country Stalls with the order number and stall name. We may help with communication or payment administration, but the seller remains responsible for buyer remedies relating to its goods or services.
Stop using anything you believe is unsafe and contact the seller promptly with the order details and useful photos. Sellers who are in trade must meet their obligations under applicable New Zealand consumer law. If the seller does not resolve the matter, contact Country Stalls so we can review the listing and assist where reasonably possible.
Reviews should be honest, relevant, and based on a genuine experience. Do not include private information, threats, discriminatory content, or material you do not have the right to publish. Country Stalls may moderate or remove reviews that breach its terms.
Growers, makers, honesty boxes, roadside stalls, farm shops, mobile sellers, local services, and other suitable independent sellers can apply. You must be legally able to sell what you list and provide complete, accurate business and contact information. Listings may require approval before becoming visible.
Country Stalls currently offers its basic stall listing and storefront tools without a monthly subscription. Integrated marketplace transactions may be subject to a marketplace commission and third-party payment processing fees. Any applicable rate should be shown in your setup or dashboard or otherwise agreed with you before it is applied. Optional third-party services may have separate fees.
You can add your stall story, category, public contact choices, location, opening information, photos, logo, products, prices, stock, payment methods, pickup and delivery settings, and other information supported by the seller dashboard.
Yes. Available options may include your own offline payment instructions and integrated Country Stalls checkout. Stripe onboarding and verification are required before Stripe card payments and payouts can be enabled. Some payment methods are available only when the relevant feature is enabled.
The seller is. Sellers must keep listings, stock, prices, locations, hours, delivery terms, and claims accurate; supply orders as agreed; handle complaints and lawful remedies; and comply with all applicable tax, food safety, product safety, labelling, licensing, consumer, and other legal requirements.
Yes. Approved sellers can generally change their live status from the dashboard. Country Stalls may also pause, reject, or remove a listing when it is incomplete, inactive, misleading, unsafe, unlawful, or in breach of the platform terms.
Yes. Country Stalls is a Progressive Web App, so supported browsers let you add it to your home screen without using an app store. Some features can work with limited connectivity, but current listings, orders, payments, and live locations require a connection.
Please read the Privacy Policy. It explains what information Country Stalls collects, how it is used and shared, how location and payment information are handled, and how to request access or correction.
Use the contact form or email support@countrystalls.co.nz. For an order issue, include the order number, stall name, and a clear description of what happened.
